    Haloooo, kembali dgn saya. Hehehe. Skrg lg mls posting cerita. Gw hr ini punya topik (yg Insyallah) ga ngebosenin. Mari hari ini kita bicara tentang band. Nah, hari ini band yg dibicarakan adalah The Fall Of Troy..




    Prolog...

    Mungkin kalo selama ini. Dunia musik indo sdg dilanda 'krisis'. Dikarenakan bnayak munculnya band band yg homogen alias sejenis. Diawali dgn boomingnya Peterpan, lalu Radja, dkk. Dan skrg lagi boomingnya band2 sekelas kyk Kangen Band, D'Masiv, Angkasa, Pilot, Matta Band. dll yg gabisa gw sebutin satu2...

    Band2 yg gw sebutin diatas bukan trmasuk gagal lho. Mereka dpt meraup keuntungan bnyak, dri mulai penjualan RBT, album, ampe tawaran konser di berbagai tempat. Blm lagi job2 kyk manggung di acara ultah, kawinan, pensi, bahkan sampe bersatu dgn panggung2 organ tunggal di kampung2. Jls bukanlah sesuatu yg 'miskin'...

    Tapi knp? Ini yg menjadi masalah. Knp smua band2 tersebut memiliki ciri musik yg hampir sama satu sm lain. Gada sesuatu yg membuat band2 trsebut lbih inovatif, kreatif, dsb. Satu band sukses alirannya pop, langsung ngekor pop smua. Udh gtu rata2 sama persis lg. Kan genre musik ada bnyak. Pop sndiri ada pop-punk, pop-rock, pop-alternative, malah kalo berani pake aja brutal-pop skalian..

    Justru yg sukses2 malah dri jalur indie, contohnya kyk The Changcuters. Oke ada org bilang gaya mrk norak. Tapi akhirnya mlh jadi ciri khas mrk. Musik mrk rock n roll, tapi mrk bisa kembangin jadi ga stuck di situ2 aja. Udh gt livenya juga bagus. Semangat, jadi ga ngantuk gt ehehehe.. :)

    Nah, kembali ke jdul. Band yg namanya The Fall Of Troy ini memang bukan band pop, atau rock n roll. Aliran mereka adalah Post-Hardcore/Experimental. Post-Hardcore tuh sejenis emo2 gt deh. Eits, bagi yg gasuka emo2an dsb. Jgn pergi dlu. Coba dgr lgunya The Fall Of Troy (yg ada d blog ini) jdulnya F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. Sprti gw bilang diatas, mrk emo tapi ga stuck di emo yg ituuu2 ajaaa. Mrk bisa kembangin jauh dri definisi emo sbnrnya. Inovatif, kreatif, skillful, pdhal mrk cm ber-3 lho.

    Udh lah gaenak kan berpanjang kata hehehe. Okeee, langsung aja dimulai. Bagi yg mau mencoba sing along. Skedar info lgu ini agak susah diikuti soalnya cpet bgt ehehe. Tp kan gada salahnya mencoba. Okee ini dia liriknya...
